Club History

Golf has been played at Wortley for over 100 years on a course first established and developed by the Second Earl of Wharncliffe and still forms part of the Wharncliffe Estate to this day.

Club policy is to continuously improve the course and the facilities. Our visitors can expect to enjoy a top quality golf course, courteous and helpful staff, combined with excellent catering and bar service in comfortable and tasteful surroundings.

The Club has very easy access from the M1 Junctions 35A and 36.
