We now have a great new addition to our services using the Flightscope Technology where all your shot data is tracked and recorded for use in lessons, custom fitting of new clubs, driver optimising, club gapping and many other game improvement and practice scenarios.

Flightscope

Flightscope gives carry distance, club head speed, ball speed, spin rates, launch angles, height, swingplane, club path, face angle, angle of attack and more to give the true picture of what happens when you hit a golf shot.

Wortley Golf Club is expanding its membership and is offering a Free Taster Session to anyone who may be interested in taking up the game. Whether you are an absolute beginner or a novice, have never picked up a club, or have a basic knowledge, come down and see us. You will be made very welcome.

The Free Taster Session includes:

• Use of golf clubs
• Use of practice balls
• Tips and advice on your swing from our resident PGA qualified Professional
• A visit to the clubhouse and Professionals Shop
• Refreshments
• The Taster Sessions run throughout the year

For those who enjoy the experience and would like to go further or for those who have tried golf previously we offer our Beginners' Package, this includes:

• 6 lessons with our PGA qualified Professional 
• An on-course lesson
• Unlimited use of the practice ground and putting green
• Temporary House membership
• Drinks from the bar at members discounted rates
• The price of this Beginners' Package is just £200 per person
